    Description

Vintage Chinese Dragon Butterfly Beaded Sequin Kimono Sleeve Evening Coat
This vintage amazing Chinese dragon butterfly beaded sequin kimono sleeve evening coat dates from the 1940s. It is made of an off white cream color silk satin fabric, covered with colorful metallic, gold beaded sequins of a dragon going down the front, butterflies and peony flowers throughout. This beautiful beaded Chinese style wedding long floor length evening coat costume has padded winged broad shoulders with gold beaded fringe trim edging them, long full flared kimono sleeves lined in bright pink satin fabric, mandarin collar, high side slit skirt vents, snap closures down the front top, and is fully lined in a faded light blue satin fabric inside. The coat measures 52 inches long, with a 32 inch bust, 25 inch waist, 21 inch long sleeves, 13 inch back and 12 inch neck. It is in good as-is condition, with some soiling inside the neckline, a small faint stain on the back top, loose missing sequins and beaded fringe trim along the shoulders (see close-ups). This is truly a rare and an extravagant piece of Chinese bridal wedding wearable art!
