Tips for Scaling a Vehicle:
Find a level surface. A level surface is important to accurately measure your corner cross weights. We offer the Liquid Leveler to quickly level your scale pads. Once leveled, mark the locations of the pads on the shop floor with tape to quickly find an accurate scaling location the next time you need it.
Lift or drive vehicle onto the scales with ramps. Speedway offers durable, low-profile aluminum ramps that are perfect for your needs.
To prevent the car from falling off the scales,
LOCK
that car into place! Put the car in gear, use wheel chocks or a rod depressing the brake pedal.
Don’t forget about ride height! Know how those weight changes affect ride height with our Chassis Height Checkers. For the ultimate in accuracy, Speedway Motors offers a complete Laser Level and Laser Chassis Height Checker package.
Additional Display Options:
To view front to rear, left to right, or cross weight displays, press and hold the Function button. While holding the Function button, press and release the Tare button to scroll through the additional weighing screens.

When it comes to finding the winner’s circle on a Saturday night at tracks across America any racer that has made their way there will tell you that success on track is part driver, part setup, and part luck.
The driver and setup equation can always be improved with practice and learning, but to repeat that success, you need to know the weight balance of your car. (As for the luck, well you’ll need to provide your own horseshoe).
Owning a set of portable scales (often referred to as corner scales or corner weight scales) allows you to make changes to your suspension for varying track and chassis or tire conditions and see exactly how these changes affect corner weights, cross weights, and front/rear percentages.

Not only does the latest LCD 4.0 system display individual corner weights and total weight, but it also provides the user with side to side, front to rear, and cross weight percentages, which is a huge value add when setting up adjustable suspensions. The LCD display unit is backlit for easy readability in low-light conditions and is powered by four standard AA batteries. Keep a spare set of batteries in the included foam-lined hard case or your trailer and you will always have power for your scales.
Unpack the four scale pads and LCD display from their protective foam-lined rolling carry case (which even has a luggage-type handle for easy transport!), install two AA batteries in each scale pad and then set the scale pads in position and turn them on. Summary:
Thinnest scales out there! Very compact and light total package, makes taking your scales to weigh your buddies' cars much more convenient :) Wireless weight data transmission is straightforward and simple, updating real-time. These scales really have all the features you need to be able to weigh and/or corner balance your car, and are well worth the extra ~200$ to go wireless with the same brand. If you're careful with the on/off switches and don't mistreat the 4 pads it rests on the floor in (which just so happen to be the weighing mechanism), it should last plenty :) If you're on the fence with scales, take the plunge! There are always good reasons to get accurate data.

Exactly what I needed while building my drag car. I was looking for layout and placement options to balance the car and reduce the use of weights to balance. Only downside is the car is not running and you cannot turn the system on while the car is on the scales.

Return Policy
We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. If within 60 days after you receive your shipment and you are not satisfied, you may return the item for a refund.
