Please Note: This cable is shorter than the stock cable and must be routed slightly different.  Please read the ad fully and please look at all 9 photos in the ad for the instructions on how this cable must be routed.  If you try to route the cable the traditional/stock way, IT WILL NOT WORK.  This cable must be routed behind the front forks, as described in this ad below and shown in the photos.
This is a brand new aftermarket front brake cable for the 1982-1983 Honda Urban Express mopeds (NU50 / NU50M).
It is roughly 46 to 47 inches in length.
Please be aware that this is shorter than the stock front brake cable that comes with NU50 mopeds, but it still works wonderfully by simply routing the cable differently as we explain further down in this ad.  You simply just route the cable behind the front forks, as described below.  Our customers have been using these shorter brake cables for years with no issues on their NU50 Honda Urban Express mopeds.
How to Route the Cable Properly:
Since this is shorter than the stock front brake cable, y
ou must route the cable differently.  Look at the photos in the ad where we use a yellow arrow along the front brake cable to indicate the proper path for this aftermarket cable. You must route the front brake cable behind the front forks/ front wheel, as we show in the photos, and wrap it around to the other side where the end of the cable meets the wheel brake hub.  That's basically it.  It's just a slightly different cable route since this cable is shorter than the stock cable.  To see the instructional photos in this ad, look at the top of this eBay ad page where we have the photos of the brake cable and click on the forward buttons within the photo to go forward between the photos till you find the photos with the yellow arrows.  Those yellow arrows show how to route this cable properly.  Look at all 9 photos in this ad to see the proper brake cable route. If you try to route the cable the traditional/stock way, it will not work. This cable is too short for that, and must be routed behind the front forks in the method that we have described in order to reach the brake hub.  It works great as long as you route the cable properly.
