    Description

    1854 Braided Hair Half Cent, Uncirculated.  Minor marks typical of a coin saved as a souvenir after the retirement of the series in 1857, the most obvious of which is a "ding" on the raised rim edge below Star #1.  However, no wear and attractive reddish-brown original surfaces, with plenty of obvious luster.  Guaranteed to certify as "Unc Details" if submitted, however we believe this belongs in an album page as a discounted example of the Type.  I am happy to combine shipping for multiple items – for best service please use the ebay Shopping Cart feature and ASK FOR A COMBINED INVOICE before payment, or contact me for a quote.
